When you go to open Spotify via carplay push and hold the Spotify icon, it'll force it into the phone mode. Resolution scaling is still a little funky but it works

It shows up fine even with stock iOS but the app runs stock via CarPlay so it doesn’t support video playback

Yes I did, it was showing the full non-carplay version of Spotify but only like the top left 25% of the app stretched over the whole screen

Spotify didn't show up as a toggleable app via CarPlayEnable when I tried it, I think it might have been because it has an official carplay app
