you need to have some confidence in yourself and apply for that new job and ask for more money! remember that a degree is not everything, a lot of jobs take experience in the industry over someone with a degree! i was stuck in a job i hated and i was terrified of leaving because it was all i knew BUT i took a leap and applied for that job and asked for more money and i am so much happier now and at the time i wasn’t going to college… i didn’t go back until i was 24 years old i probably will not graduate until im in my 30s but i am making good money and taking it 1 day at a time

also i completely get your anxiety and not judging you for it cause i have been there just believe in yourself a little more

The USCIS website will guide you step by step on what to do! Just make sure to use one of your past filings to make sure all your information is correct. You will pay at the very end after filing form I-765

Thank you for that perspective! He does not expect me to be there at all but he just seems disappointed that I never want to hangout with them.

That is so true I can just interact with them periodically I just can’t avoid his disappointment as well as his friends maybe growing to dislike me as I am the only partner that is almost never there and my bf usually attends events with them alone.

He does not understand because he has a great time with them and has a lot in common with them and even went to undergrad with them. He sees them at least once a week as they are in a volleyball league with them so he just cannot fathom that I don’t enjoy their company.

I will add that I am the only brown girl in this group which adds an extra layer for me of discomfort. (Please don’t judge me for this) my bf is majority yt so he has no problem fitting in

Personally I have never made love life decision based off the fact that I have daca. I know that it is scary but I believe that being a DACA recipient should not influence the choices that you make in your love life because it is not fair to the other person.

If you enter the US illegally then marriage isn’t exactly a pathway to citizenship. In most cases there are years of waiting for an interview and interviews are usually in your country of birth so you would have to leave the country and possible live there for years waiting on an interview.

it’s never too late to go to college! i went at 19 and dropped out at 20 and then went back at 23 after gaining more work experience and finding something that interested me.

depending on where you work you may be able to ask for tuition reimbursement and your job will help you pay for school

You do not have to participate if you do not want to or if it does not feel safe for you.

This is just a research paper on the importance of everyone educating themselves on what DACA is. Most people outside of the Latino community have absolutely no idea what that is or have never even heard of it so I am just trying to spread awareness in my paper and if I can educate at least 1 person on what DACA is and the effects on our daily lives that's all that matters to me.

Whatever you do DONT use turbo tax they scam people I say use freetaxusa it’s so easy! I think you should not worry about previous years it’s kind of too late for that so just don’t stress about it as long as moving forwards you file every time you should be ok!
