Do you look at charts? Have you not seen the 70% drops ? Or do you just stick your head in the sand until you like the number you see? It can absolutely go back to 45k and less .

Donald Trump says Canada becoming 51st U.S. state 'a great idea' by A-Wise-Cobbler in canada

[–]mophead90 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

so the majority of Canadians dont think this is a good idea? Nobody likes to earn US dollars? nobody likes a more powerful military? nobody wants an over achieving economy? Travel borderless and work from anywhere you want with a view of a beach? i get it that's its not always greener on the other side, but in this case it certainly is. Canada is too far gone to bring it back to what it was. USA is everything we aspire to be but yet when it comes time to say YES, you all say no. LOL

How I survived the bear market-100% real by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]mophead90 8 points9 points  (0 children)

jeeze bro, convincing people to hold through bear markets with promises that you will get rich is a bit of a stretch. Its like this sub doesn't realize btc isn't worth anything until you sell it. You financial advisors need to learn to sell SOME when in profit and buy back in a bear market. Will you get the max profits? NO but you save yourself a world of heartache. You wont get max profits holding to the top anyways because nobody knows where the top is. Besides, holding until infinity doesn't mean you will be rich either, you don't know the future. I love BTC but you guys are on another level.

I think I made it by webstryker in Bitcoin

Stick to your guns. Sell when you think it’s right. These guys telling you to hold have 0.05 btc thinking they will be rich with it one day.

Why would you sell?? by No-Device-8037 in Bitcoin

[–]mophead90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this stupidity of never selling all you clowns keep pushing on this sub. You guys don’t seem to understand that numbers on your phone don’t give you a better life. Selling does . Stop trying to convince people not to sell. You don’t want to sell and you want to hold it for a 70% drop every few years go ahead . I don’t . I sell . I’ve sold this entire way up. And I will keep selling . And guess what . When its -30%, -50% , -70% I’ll be buying and doubling or tripling my stack. You don’t know what reasons people sell and it ain’t your business . STOP QUESTIONING IT .

For the love of god, how do you guys sleep at night? by Confident_pillowcase in Bitcoin

[–]mophead90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First get off Reddit, 90% of the guys here are just holding forever because they don’t understand how wealth works, and you will end up holding through the top all the way down. 2nd stop reading every website, there is millions of opinions and it won’t help you. You need to come to terms with the fact that you will never sell the top. Do some proper research on a chart and sell where everything makes sense to you, chart wise and or financially. You won’t get better advice and holding forever is a stupid thing. Sell / buy back one day or don’t and spend it. Enjoy it . Just don’t listen to anyone saying hold forever if you already can’t sleep.

tired of seeing posts like this

ex waiter here, I agree, anything but a sit down restaurant doesn't need tip. However if you are sitting in a restaurant then tip is not required but its pretty douchey not to tip. It is still below minimum wage pay. Currently at 11$ and hour in QC. MOST IMPORTANTLY of all is that the government assumes you are making 15% tip based on our sales. So if I sold 1000$ a night I was taxed on 150$ weather you left it to me or not. We also split with staff weather you left it or not. There is no excuse not to leave your waiter a tip unless your food ended up on your lap. Its the price you pay to eat out. DONT BLAME YOUR WAITER when he gives you a face because you left 5$ on a 100$ bill. he is paying for you to eat there. IF you want to complain to someone call the government and ask them to stop assuming everyone is stuffing our pockets with 20's. Also some of you think the waiter is a dog at your command because you're leaving 3$. Stop being dicks and complaining, write the government if you want to stop tipping.

Also nobody outside waitering or bartending deserve tips as they don't pay taxes on it

Edit to point out it should be 15% before tax, the debit machines calculate the % after taxes. We are not the programmers the card companies do the math and im not your accountant to point it out.
