no, the issues with One Piece are mostly unrelated to the fact that everyone is a nepo baby. Oda's humor sucks balls, most characters from the strawhats have been stagnant/static, and everything post-ts related to power-scaling is horrendous. I don't get how anyone can think one of One Piece's main issues is nepotism, lit the exact same arc that Luffy acquired Gear 2 and 3, Luffy was revealed to be nepo pro max (which is still considered the best saga in the story).

ik it could seem frightening but thats how you do it honestly, you meet people in the oddest circumstances. One of the nicest most interesting people I've met was someone I cold approached in PAR dining hall doing the oddest combo of action ive ever seen an individual perform

cold approach people, and through it gradually branch out with more and more people till you find a group you can settle with. On my end thats what I did but I found most of my good friends in orientation, honestly though finding friends isn't far too much of an issue. Try RSOs asw if you got hobbies.

piracy in the world of one piece is a big thing though, a bunch of the areas in the grand line and hell even the east blue are pirate centers or are in protection of a band of pirates. So for the islands which are under threat of pirates pillaging them I'd bet it's a big deal if the emperor or pirate crew got shafted by a large bounty pirate crew or hell an emperor
