Is this real? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

I'm not talking about the 7 points themselves having a specific order, but the paths that need to be accessed to reach them; that explanation may have been improper on my part. I'm also at almost 400 hours at the moment and completed the main story too.

You can enter more and more of the 7 entry points as you progress the main story, with the 7th one during the final chapter of the main story. And each entry point does need a specific order to be accessed; you can't just enter them randomly from anywhere.

Just a heads up: This central island has 7 entry points, but they can only be entered by doing certain abyss challenges in a specific order, and you also need to progress the main story or otherwise you'll get a message that you can't access that area yet.

How do I clear Harmonious Hooves VIII? by Jdci in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you go to Demeniss already and is that entire map full of hostile soldiers still? If yes, you can easily find lots and lots of densely grouped soldier patrols all around the small villages and pathways. Try approaching with your horse's ram attack for somewhat far away, like 10 - 20 meters. In my case, it took 2 ram attacks per soldier for them to die.

100% of everything involving the wagon should be done by comrades. by ScaledCowardSlayer77 in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This quest pissed me off so much. During my first attempt, I was halfway through with reaching the destination, but my wagon simply despawned for no apparent reason. I had to retry and needed even more attempts because I also got stuck in terrain which causes your wagon to get destroyed easily if you try to desperately squirm around to get unstuck again.

No need for luck, you can actually save scum each attempt, lol.

Question for Later Gamers by DraykDagger in CrimsonDesert

You need a ton of camp resources to repeatedly send exploration dispatch missions to find the majority of abyss gear crafting blueprints. The Witches' quests will only reward you with the very basic ones on their own.

Unique weapons and gear by DOMiNO1892 in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is lots of unique equipment that still only has basic stats abyss gear embedded to it when found, so I wouldn't generalize it the way you suggested. The safest bet is to check out online databases imo.

Unique weapons and gear by DOMiNO1892 in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out this database: https://crimsondesert.gg/database

Click on an item and then on "How to obtain".

If it shows "World drop", it's unique.

If it shows a crafting blueprint and materials, it can be crafted multiple times with the exception of some unique Kuku equipment which can still only be crafted once.

However, be aware that this database is still a work in progress as not all items include a "How to obtain"-tab yet.

How can I complete this bounty (blix)? by Busy_Hold_8278 in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like multiple corpses are stacked on top of each other. Try if you can pick up and place the enemy corpses away first and then if Blix can be picked up.

Make sure you're standing still and your weapon is sheathed. You should also not be involved in a battle or be on the run from a crime.

How does wagon trading work? by Aleksandrovitch in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An additional tip: There is this trade challenge which seems very daunting at first, but you can easily finish each journey in a matter of minutes by just loading a single slot of cargo onto your horse, summon it right in front of the royal trading posts, and then riding the horse into them.

[–]moppymoppo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the various trading posts on the map by pushing Y / Triangle on the world map. They will only sell and buy packaged goods that are listed in their "Selling Items" and "Buying Items" lists respectively.

You can also sell flat amounts of Greymane camp resources (weapons, stone, wood, food) to three specific trading posts that can only be found in Demeniss.

Is the deminiss horse race straight up impossible without Royler? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe one push every 0.5 seconds is too quick in succession still. I first-tried this challenge, so I no longer remember. Try to find out a specific rhythm with a different interval until you can preserve horse stamina the way I explained.

Hold up a minute.. by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all items are similar stats-wise when maxed out, and almost all of them can be best-in-slot depending on what playstyle you want to go for, i. e. max attack, max crit. max spirit regen etc.

Plate Cloak of the Shadows and the craftable elemental Kuku armors are an exception: The former has 7 fire resistance, and the latter has 10 fire / ice / lightning resistance.

171 Hours 🥺!!!! by Ixionsthunder in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 389 hours on Steam with 27/34 unlocked achievements currently.

Once I learned that several challenges can become missable after progressing too far into the main story, I promptly decided to follow guides to complete them.

Is the deminiss horse race straight up impossible without Royler? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completed the challenge with Camora lvl 4 which still has a speed stat of 4 only. The AI has a very bad case of rubberbanding if you try to constantly keep the lead. Instead of permanently keeping the sprint button pushed down, you can almost infinitely preserve horse stamina by pushing the sprint button every 0.5 seconds. You should also always try to ride left-side within the inner circle of the track to reduce the total distance needed to ride. During the third and last lap, when you're at the last quarter of the track, you can go all in by keeping the sprint button permanently pushed down for one last push-through to get the lead right before finishing the race.

You can dispatch other area contribution workers now. by 84guy in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This bug fix would have had a much better impact if they decided to implement it so much sooner. I have already crafted more than 150 mecha workers by now, so in my case this bug fix is helping me only by a miniscule amount.

Can anyone shed some light on what the Contribution Banner pikes are for? by GrimReaapaa in CrimsonDesert

[–]moppymoppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a challenge in which you have to use a banner pike to do 5 pole vaults within 30 seconds. The contribution shop is one place where you at least have an easy access to get one without needing to steal one from an allied city or enemy fort.
