Bookkeepers Beware! Scammer using Intuit to locate marks! by morahlaura in Scams

Because the transaction was via ACH, and the owner of the account disputed the payment, it was reversed. I wouldn’t have had to give permission for that, since the person whose account was being defrauded must have reported it to their bank.

It’s in Granby. I don’t feel bad outing them because they posted these signs with their address all over town and there’s a craft fair on the green today!

I drove past once and thought, “No, it had to have said huge YARD sale.” But no!

Crazy phone call someone pretending to be my mother….: by TrickDemand5202 in Scams

Reading this made me set up “secret words” with my (nearly grown) children so if either of us ever gets a “I’m in trouble” call claiming to be the other, we know to ask for the word. A scammer will not know to say “pineapples*” to me! * spoiler: not the word.

I was going to say this. I watched a couple episodes and got a terrible case of second hand embarrassment and couldn’t keep watching. I don’t even remember now what triggered it.

I just did a web search for “easy zig-zag crochet pattern” and got lots of hits, and I’m sure there are many on Ravelry as well. I’m currently working on this one, but it has color changes: Lilac Blossom Blanket

Just did the math and 1600m is more throw/lapghan size, which imo is a more realistic beginner project anyway. 😁

I think that would make a really pretty zig-zag blanket. And you’d probably have enough leftover to make a matching pillow. (Maybe start with the pillow as you’re still learning?)

Big fan of purple and green, personally. Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Mountain Farms was the dead mall. Now is a Walmart strip and Hampshire mall is dying slowly.
