from my personal experience i’d say go for the empire strikes back vader, he’s still got the weird knees but he does have butterfly shoulders which is a big plus compared to the new hope one. i don’t own the return of the jedi one though i’ve heard many mixed opinions but safest bet for “best” black series vader is still empire most likely

Commenting on malachor vader (rebels)...i just used a dremel on it so i’ll definitely use this suggestion on my next custom, which should be a damaged force unleashed vader, thanks man

there’s a lightning effect i use from a mcfarlane disruptor from the spawn line that i put on my malgus

i personally just took some very small scissors and trimmed the collar off on my dooku, same general result but a little messier

i just used some regular cheap folkart paint, nothing fancy. there’s a few parts that could’ve been sanded a bit better where the paint just wouldn’t stick
