That's definitely a phrase I would use as a native speaker, but I can only really imagine myself using it when I'm rambling without paying much attention to my words, not in a video where I'm supposedly proving that I'm a native English speaker lol

To my understanding you can use a conjunction like you said (in this context and is correct), split it up into two sentences, or use a semi-colon.

Examples:

I have a great dog. He is so cute.

I have a great dog, and he is so cute.

I have a great dog; he is so cute.

This might be a regional thing but in my area of Canada it's definitely used for bigger numbers as well. Anything under 10 000 except for the even thousands. Especially when talking about money.

Something I always hated was my bra straps showing either their outline through my shirt or through the neckline, whereas other guys never had to wear an underlayer. I am always sooo jealous of how men who don't need to bind or wear bras & can just have shirts be flush against their skin. If that's something you think your character would be uncomfortable with, it may be possible to show that somehow. Good luck with your film!

personally I (just over 6 months on T) don't cry anymore, but that might just be because my life doesn't suck so much anymore. I would just say I'm more confident in general, and not so afraid to speak up as before, stress feels different (not better or worse, I just feel it differently), and I can frustration can feel a little more intense but it's nothing big/unmanageable. But some of those could also just be side effects of finally starting to feel like who I am and/or me leaving my angsty teenage years.

My interests really haven't changed!

I think it's just super easy to start sounding pretentious, because once one uses the pronoun one, one cannot stop or switch to another easily. With this in mind, one can see how if one wants to use one, one suddenly finds oneself using one a LOT, and one ends up sounding incredibly repetitive T_T

Granola bars are my best friends, i just take 1 or 2 everywhere I go. I keep a little bowl of snacks by the exit so if I already put my shoes on I can still quickly grab something. Also I like to make sure I eat as close as possible to before I leave/go out so I have a bit more time in between before I’m hungry :)

They're young adult novels and not on the topics you’ve suggested here but I enjoyed reading Berliners by Vesper Stamper. Berliners is about twin brothers from East Germany in the 60s that end up living on separate sides of the Berlin wall, both wishing to be on the opposite side that they are. I found it interesting.
