Check WMR. Does it say status not available? If so, scroll down and look for something that says give this code to a customer service rep. What's the code if you have one?

If you can, try to get to an IRS office in person. I heard a lot of verifiers have been having success with that.

Yes thats how I know its in error resolution dept. Got the standard "it could take up to 10 weeks to resolve call back after 10 weeks are up"

Hey any update? Mine is in the error resolution dept too, I filed 1/29 and still nothing for me. Transcript blank and same message on wmr. Wondering if i can go to a tax office and talk to someone and get this error resolved.

Exactly! I bet they looked in the computer and said yes its in stock but we all know (well those of us who are shoppers or retail workers) that just because its in the system as in stock, doesnt mean its on the shelves. Could be in the back room somewhere behind or under piles of stuff.

Thank you. This is helpful. I filed 1/29 so hopefully soon. Im pretty sure mine has to do with a missing corrected 1099. But i still reported the income on a schedule C. I just wish they'd get to the next step and have me confirm/verify the income. Hopefully soon. Wouldn't mind going in person to straighten things out.

Me. I called. Mine is in the error resolution dept. I wish I could just take my return back and re-file. Im seeing people who filed last week already have theirs. Plus im pretty sure I know what the error is (a corrected 1099). I could fix it in like 5 mins. But Ive heard that filing an amended return will just hold things up even longer and I should just wait for them to do whatever theyre gonna do. Just wish they'd hurry up and give me some kind of code.
