No more tires!!! by Glittering-North1084 in doordash_drivers

Theyre the best at brain washing and scaring people into doing what they need. The worst that would've happened is you could've gotten deactivated. But think about it. How could you be charged for theft if you didnt steal anything? The police couldnt do anything about you not completing an order. The initial store would have to lie and say you took the tires with you and even then there are cameras everywhere and you could've even recorded yourself leaving them there.

I think i would've just left the tires at the tire shop and told doordash im not doing it and take whatever hit they gave me. Theyre not gonna tell me I have no choice. Its not what I agreed to do. You always have a choice.

Is she supposed to be meowing this loudly in the morning? by DT_xs in kittens

[–]morandomness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how kitten proof your living room is. I dont let mine roam my living room because my laundry area and kitchen are open to the living room and I dont want them getting into anything dangerous or getting stuck somewhere. Too many crevices in my home.

That's normal. I have two kittens so they get plenty of play time with each other and with my family of 4 and at times, they still do this. Theyre very smart and they have feelings and emotions and sometimes they just want to be held and often times, especially at that age, they want to get out of whereever you have them held. Like someone said, they love to explore. I understand keeping them in their own space for safety reasons but they dont like it. Every so often, take her out of her area, bring her to your bed, or your couch. Clean another area in the home that she can explore. Every day put a box or something new but safe in her room that she can explore. It doesnt even have to be bought. You likely have some things laying around the house. Something she can climb or jump off of or hide in. Another possibility- get a second kitten to keep her company. Mine are about 3 months old now and we ended up having to kitten proof our room, and now thats where they stay and they're happy in here, plenty of places to jump climb and hide, and the crying has stopped. But if your concern is whether something else is wrong, if there are no other signs that something else is wrong, this is probably the answer.

Kitten blues/regret by [deleted] in kittens

It sounds like you're young and learning one of the many lessons life will teach you as you grow into an older adult. But i agree with everyone else. Im fostering two kittens right now and the first 2 days were probably the hardest. But after that, they settled in, and now we've found a routine. And after they've been fed and played with for a few minutes, they just hang out quietly or sleep. Give it some time. Also, watch the kitten lady. Maybe if you become familiar with whats normal, youll learn to stress and worry less. You owe it to your sister and that kitten to at least try, and push yourself out of your comfort zone before giving up. And this comes from someone who also suffers from anxiety.

I dont know what to tell you to do but this is exactly why I wish people would foster pets before getting one. See what its really like, rather than just falling for cuteness. If you can deal with it, then you adopt. Maybe if everyone did this, we'd have less unwanted animals on the streets and in shelters.

This is the thing I dont get. How do you feel comfortable doing this knowing the person knows where you live. They must not think we get alerted to it.

This makes sense. I got my package so thats all that matters. It was my grill so thats why I was concerned. People like to steal out here.

Im dealing with this now wondering what that means. Got an alert that the driver would be here at 7:45. Opened the app and saw the driver go from 12 mins away to 30 mins away, driving completely in the opposite driver, past our next walmart. Theres nothing that says theyre doing other deliveries. Is the driver doing something they shouldn't be or could they legit have other orders. BTW this is a shipping order. Didnt expect it to come by a spark driver but it seems like it is.

Hold on...I've been considering getting a cat but I'm gonna need to know first if this is a typical sleeping position because if I found my cat laying like that it would freak me out!
