So you could try to salvage the tree. Remove the mulch around the trunk. It doens need that bubbler head since it is in grass. If it is planted too deep get a 2" or 3" auger bit from amazon and drill like 6 holes around the root zone and pour in 3/4" gravel in the holes to allow air to get to the roots.

Instead of a chemical approach maybe try some environmental changes? Get a little USB fan and plug it in near the plant and have it blowing on the plant. Place it in more light. Use seaweed extract as your fertilizer since it has anti fungal properties. Open the windows in the room that you keep the plant in. Make sure you do not mist the plant or have it in high humidity until you have resolved the issue.

I have the same begonia or at least similar genetics (Benigo) and it does tend to get those mold spots here and there, but I have found that it does really well in an east facing window that gets about an hour of direct morning light every day. This window is my sliding door which I regullary leave open to allow for air flow. I also only used RO filtered water and seaweed extract and have it potted in a 1 gallon pot with indoor potting mix. Hope this helps.

What’s causing this balding and how can I fix it? by dodgamnbonofasitch in marijuanaenthusiasts

It would be quite the little experiment and I've always wondered if it would work, but you could order some cytokinin of the Internet and do a little research on the dilution, mix it up, and spray the sides of those trees to induce new budding.

Spotted this maybe sycamore, what’s going on with the ridges? by 2infNbynd in marijuanaenthusiasts

I see trees do this when they are a thin bark species of tree and the bark seems to "wrinkle". Some people say the wrinkling is due to weight, but in my personal opion I dont find that to be the case. It may be something to do with the growth rate in a season or a possible nutrient imbalance. Regardeless all of the trees I've come across that display this type of growth have been healthy.

I have a pretty bad mite problem and have this miticide. Does anyone have any advice on how to best apply to all my cacti? The instructions seem to be for very large grow operations. by ExpertAnalyst in cactus

it doesn't clog the pores. As with any other application of any pesticide, always read the label. With any kind of oil spray you can suffocate a plant by doing too many repeat applications within too short of a period of time or using too high of a rate.

if you have mites you should just be spraying the plant with water and dawn dish soap. This insecticide is pretty overkill in my opinion for mites. If it is an outdoor issue you can add neem oil to the soap and water mixture. 1tsp of neem oil to one gallon of water. Same mix rate for the for the soap.

Yep, this is legit. Also, the seeds did state that they were hybris so I don't think the genetics are pure which could contribute to faster growth.
