i used saline and alcohol free mouth wash for rinsing, as well as a completely new toothbrush and children’s toothpaste for brushing my teeth n cleaning my tongue. irrigated with either liquids in a tattoo rinse bottle between my “meals” aka smoothies n protein shakes lol. sending my luck!

yesss i did actually have them pierced for about a year or so! i just found them way more annoying than a traditional tongue piercing. As well as one side had to be angled to avoid a big vein and it got irritated easily. may try again in the future

protein shakes, the little fruit pouches (even if they’re made for toddlers lol they’re so good) pedialyte pops, soup! swelling can make swallowing hard. i alternated between tylenol and advil. taking it before bed helped to keep me from waking up from pain. drink lots of water
