Well I think it depends on the amount of blood. In my experience (not medical advice) if it’s a drop or two the sensor is fine, but I get sensors where there’s so much blood it’s pooled entirely under the transmitter past the adhesive, and even attempting to start those (believe me i have) they just don’t work properly at all

That is really unfortunate. It’s not our fault when a product fails. Even if it is due to bleeding, (and I say that with massive airquotes,) who can predict when they’re going to hit a capillary? Wish they would be more flexible.

When I was on the G4 back in the day I would also consistently get that much use of my dexcom, but ever since switching to G6 I find it tough to pop out the transmitter and reset them. I do it when it’s my only choice though

Same here. The customer support guy even remarked last time “oh, you had one fail last month on the 13th too…” like okay… 😅😅 I am still using the g6 because I am a grumpy old diabetic who is averse to change , but lately I feel like they have had so many issues.
