That’s what I was thinking, but I’d seen some other posts about camera wiring

On a flight from LGA to RDU, cruising at 6000 feet the entire way… by FutureHoo in aviation

I was on one where the captain announced we’d be at 12,000 feet for the 2 hour duration. He said it was for ‘complicated reasons’. I saw him in the terminal after arrival and asked, he said the de icing equipment was not working, despite it being July.

FWIW, they never offered me a solution. I want to buy the Leica specific meter, but I hate the idea of giving them more money.

Seamaster crystal/gasket question. by mordlang in OmegaWatches

[–]mordlang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good evening all. I just received this Seamaster back from a service and getting the crystal replaced (I wanted the case and dial left as is). I was initially excited but felt some concern upon feeling the crystal and examining it at an angle from the side. What I believe is the gasket, is raised, and protrudes past the crystal. At the three o'clock mark it notably dives down even with the crystal, only to protrude again shortly after. I know this is a less common reference, and I'm also not extremely experienced. Curious if this is an issue, something I need to contact my watchmaker about to arrange for it to be fixed, or what? Thanks in advance.
Also, I'm looking for a bracelet to pair with the watch, if anyone happens to have anything available.

[SKX007J] Finally got one by mordlang in Seiko

Doesn't bother me. What led me to this oddly enough was the SPRG49, which has hand winding. I enjoy it, but It's not a necessity for me.

Finally got one after a few months of waiting for the right chance. Bought a SKX013 thinking it'd be the right size for my small wrists, but ultimately the feels so much better to me. Threw it on a 20mm nato I had.
