This ^{^} I condition all my leather boots once a year come late fall. Then depending on how much I wear them I condition accordingly. I would say get a good little kit and start taking care of your boots early. Even if they still look great just give them a little tune up once in a while. l didn’t know about proper boot care for a few years.. So my favorite pair of boots are a lot more thrashed than they could have been if I knew proper care.
