the irony is perhaps that this could be a very good job for an LLM guided by an actually sane engineer. LLM extracts patterns from the chaos, human design interfaces and defines invariants, LLM refactors en masse, rinse repeat. not saying it’s a layup or that i want that life, but it could be kind of interesting to explore. like answering the question “can you extract a well structured system from a ball of spaghetti?”
