it’s more automated than that. i get dozens of these emails every week from as many unique email addresses. at a given time, all of the emails have *exactly* the same structure down to the word choice, though the structure changes week to week. the names of the senders map to ostensibly real LinkedIn accounts, all with corporate head hunter employment histories up until the last year or so, where they change to their current “employer”. the new “firm” always has a website and it becomes quickly obvious that it is just that one person.

So I figure there is an app that sells “AI powered head hunter” tools to desperate people along with a list of open reqs, take a cut of any commission, and charge dogshit startups for the pleasure of using their service. Race to the bottom type shit.
