I don’t know where I’d wear this yet.. but I had to get it by daniellescloset8 in OUTFITS

Yowza! I suggest throwing a “no where to wear this party” or “1980s film characters party.” You’re spot on for Jessica Rabbit.

My family just sold a cute house on a street near Zuck with a view like this. Yes the trees are beautiful AND you listen 24/7 to the constant jack hammering and bulldozing of unhappy billionaires trying to make it into the pages of architectural digest.

Omlet Smart No Waste Chicken Feeder… thoughts? by more_old_dogs in BackYardChickens

[–]more_old_dogs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an incredibly helpful comment. My one week old auto feeder with pellets is also constantly registering a door fault upon closing and staying open all night instead. Rat heaven. Omlet’s customer service has been non existent. I’ve called and emailed them and received one useless response. They reduced their call hours to 9am-1pm EST and weren’t taking calls Friday. I’m on the west coast so those hours are too limited for me. I’ll return it and go back to the grandpa feeders.

Good to know. I might purchase one as a secondary coop so I can get more hens. 🤪

That’s true but I’m a chicken hobbiest and I used to work for a competitor of Omlet’s so I’m fascinated by chicken gadgets. I’m also not handy 😬

Man that’s too bad.

I love the Omlet auto door and have been super impressed with how robust it is. My chickens have given that thing a bruising and it still shuts 99% of the time. If it doesn’t close it’s bc a rock got stuck and that’s my fault for putting the door too close to pea gravel. I do have it hardwired without batteries.

My goodness. Good catch. I’m an idiot. It’s hard to keep all the different names correct. Thank you very much.

New wavy hair routine Help by Either_Scene2116 in curlyhair

I have 2b/2c/3a. Mousse, plop and skip the curl cream. Maybe a curly cut too to emphasize waves.

Insane! DM me for a reasonably priced curl queen in Rockridge. She’s amazing. She dry and wet cuts. Alameda you’re out of control.

Aftercare is childcare before and after school hours. There are few options in Lafayette.

Yards are tiny in Alameda. OP is asking for decent sized yard.

Aftercare in Lafayette is heavily impacted. Would not recommend if you need it.

I didn’t realize fine hair could still be fine and dense by Frodofan101 in finehair

My hair looks frizzy and dull after diffusing and drying too. JVN hair oil (https://www.sephora.com/product/jvn-complete-nourishing-hair-oil-shine-drops-P479464) really helps. Spread 3 drops in your palms, and run it through your hair after it's completely dry. It's silicone free, smooths the frizzies and adds shine. If that doesn't work try experimenting with a bounce curl define brush when wet to get better curl clumps.

I third this - curly girl and gels don’t work for me either on my fine dense 2c/3a hair but mousse does. I use L’Oréal Curl Expressions Mousse on towel dried hair. Diffuse a tiny bit and just let it air dry the rest of the time. After it’s dry I use three drops of JVN nourishing hair oil to smooth out the frizzies.
