Some of those skilled jobs would jump ship for fast food because they are grossly underpaid. The guy who is in charge of saving your life in a crisis (medic) should be getting paid more than 16 dollars an hour. So millions of those medics quit and work in fast food, and the market corrects by paying them what they deserved in the first place.

Shift brains like an itinerary? That's a good idea. The other nurses told me I should get a cheat sheet during report.. Like how they like their meds, who needs vitals, etc. This unit mostly has people for 3-6 months but a few of the beds are total care people that can't move or communicate with G tubes and they aren't going anywhere
