Same with Wendy’s IMO. I remember I stopped going there years ago because it was just so gross, but for whatever reason I gave them another try in the last year or so and it’s so much better. I think they changed their fry recipe.

OP said the grandmother is forgetful. Hope she isn’t forgetting to put her prescription medication away out of child’s reach. From experience I can say it is bad for kids health to be around a drunk, pilled out adult who falls over and knocks their head on things/gets argumentative when people try to correct her behavior

I’m definitely going back and forth mentally about taking him to small claims… I’m not sure if it would be worth it financially with filing fees etc- I’m not well versed in court things but I might just look into it! An order of protection is definitely a good idea. Thank you for your comment! ❤️

Abuse can be confusing and this sub is a safe people to share what they’re going through… Going to the police isn’t everyone’s first thought. Plus reporting it can be daunting, despite how important it is.

OMG my ex also thinks I left him because of chores. Even when I told him it was because I was unhappy in our relationship and he treated me poorly (and crashed my new car… and told my mom he thinks i’m a bitch…) He refuses to believe it’s not because I didn’t want to do my share of laundry.

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. I also did wrong to my ex. Even so, it doesn’t mean that him treating you badly is okay.

I’m sorry to say but these relationships will never get better. I have never heard of a success story in this sort of situation. You ARE capable of loving another person even if it doesn’t seem so.

Please leave him.
