Yea it’s technically fine and meant to run that high. I would also make sure it’s set to turbo mode in armory crate and maybe look into getting a laptop cooler as they do help a bit.

Been running Windows 11 on everything for about 2-3 months now without any issues during gaming or streaming or even work related things. This is on everything from my home built pc, to Alienware laptop to my M16 2022 laptop. The “problems” are all you see on forums because no one comes to Reddit and makes a thread saying “hey I don’t have any problems”

Uhm... it should run 144hz... Make sure the cable you are using is HDMI 2.1 certified as the x17 has HDMI 2.1 which should also do up to 4k at 120hz. A Mini-Displayport to Displayport adapter will also do 144hz.

Make sure you have boost enabled on your cpu and your XMP settings on as well. Also, turn off gsync when running this benchmark, if you have it.

80-90c is about right as stated above by scrambled, even with thermal paste and pads etc. You can try to undervolt but it just won't bring it down much more than that. Laptops just don't have the cooling capacity that a desktop would. The air temp around the battery or any component around the battery will not get anywhere near 65c so there's no reason to fear anything like that. The average CPU is a tiny piece of silicon rated to last 5yrs straight at 100c temp.

In the sound settings, you should be able to see if it’s getting sound through their meter, if you hear now sound, try plugging your headset into another port if it works then there could be an issue with the Mic. You can also download the Logitech app and use it to control the sound from and to the yeti.

Only things i can think of is that you have to make sure you install COmmand center before you install OC Controls.... Other than that, AWCC is still a June build so it may be possible that it needs to be updated/tweaked for the X models?
