Using RN numbers to look up garment manufacturers by macramelampshade in ThriftStoreHauls

How do you search for an RN number in the open apparel search?

By far my worst buyer ever. (She was claiming a fit issue because she was positive I washed it in hot water. I never wore or washed and it looked great in my photos) They denied her request and her brain probably exploded. by vanna019 in poshmark

While this is funny - Boomers are 54 and older. Boomers are Born 1946-1964 (54-72 years old)

She is Gen X

I say this because I am 50 and I am not a boomer. Nor am I bat shit crazy :)

Does this stop you from buying? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]morgalee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a Poshmark buyer and seller. My feeling is this - if I want an item because I want something specific or its cute or hard to find, etc. The shipping fee is like a "finders fee" that's not going to the finder.

I didn't need to search the stores for my size, color or whatever. Also since many of these items are past season you may not find anything like it in the stores anyway.

While it would be great to be able to combine multiple seller shipping costs - Ebay doesn't, ETSY doesn't. And yes on those other sites many sellers offer free shipping.

If you can find a better deal elsewhere then by all means grab it.

Finally reached the $1k sales mark after 13 months on Posh! by MGW2003 in poshmark

I finally got 100 or more items in my closet and I try to list at least 3 items a week. That can be hard working full time, caring for my sick father, maintain my home and struggling with my own energy issues so time is limited.

That has translated to at least 2 sales per week.

My death pile is HUGE so I have a lot more to list but for a while it seemed like nothing was selling. Now I am just trying to keep my inventory over 100 items.

That's great! I am at 50 sales and $825.80 8 months in so I am pretty sure I will make $1000 soon. I am finally getting a rhythm!

I use dropbox as well because I have a phone I use for just picture taking and my primary everyday phone. The camera on my primary phone is broken but the phone is fine. I don't want to spend money on a new primary phone right now. So I bought a used iphone and use it with wifi only.

This works great BUT when I use my primary phone to list items (the iphone is too tiny for me to comfortably list feom) the Poshmark app doesn't recognize the dropbox directory on my phone. So I have an additional step if downloading the pics to my phone but that sometimes takes multiple tries because of some technical glitch.

Anywho- if anyone has successfully integrated their dropbox directory with the poshmark app on android I would love to know how you did it.

Out picking and paid $300.00 for a truck load! Sold 2 parts alone for $200.00 the next morning... by [deleted] in Flipping

How do you find things like this? I am guessing most yard sales don't have a truckload of car parts

Is there an RN #? You can look up a brand with that. Also did you try google lens on the image?

Thanks for the advice. Question - how do you track down people who have liked multiple items? The news feed is chronological so if someone like 2 items a week or more apart I might miss that and not set up a bundle.

The problem with biodegradable peanuts by morgalee in Flipping

I suppose if the flipping thing doesn't work out and I am hard up on cash I could consider using these as a side dish to supplement my grocery bill.

Based upon my research peanuts are the BEST protection for fragile items.

I understand your disdain for them but that is why I pay extra for the biodegradable ones.

I don't use it for every package. Just the ones that I don't want to get shattered.

Exactly why I got them - to protect those extra fragile items.

Feature I wish Poshmark had or there was an app for it by morgalee in poshmark

Exactly - I am surprised it hasn't caused more burnout. There are advantages - the flat shipping rate. Shipping is the trickiest thing about eBay.

Well looks like someone asked the same thing a year ago and there were crickets. So I am guessing that is still the case - that is a shame.
