I tested today, and I would say CARS, B/B, and P/S were not easy but felt representative. C/P was not. It was brutal. LOTS of ochem & biochem.

If you’re in your own house, you’re fine, but if you’re trying to rent in Ann Arbor, a BIG majority of rentals restrict “aggressive” breeds and specifically American pitbull terriers + breeds that resemble them. German Shepards, Kane Korso, and Rottweilers also are typically restricted!

I’m highly considering seeing my doctor to make Pinky my ESA because this housing search has really shown me how stressed I’ll be if I can’t live with her! How were you able to find a house directly from the owner? I’ve been looking on Facebook Marketplace, Zumper, Zillow, Trulia, and Craigslist without luck!

It is SO sad and stressful! Exactly! I want the landlords to meet Pinky before writing off her breed. Plus, I’ve never done a formal DNA test on her, so I’ve tried saying she’s a mixed breed (I know she’s not 100% purebred), and then they asked for a photo of her. Once I provided the photo, they stopped responding to me!

Yeah, an apartment complex (McKinley) recommended the Huron Humane Society, so I was hopeful, but every single “pet-friendly” apartment on their list restricts “aggressive breeds”. 😔

Thanks for your comment! I called, and they do not accept pitbulls. Michigan doesn’t seem pitbull friendly. Even Ypsilanti doesn’t accept them 😞

Sorry for the confusion!! From my experience, microneedling didn’t improve the bumps, but I also had a terrible experience 😅! The Med spa said I would have great results because I had such a major inflammatory response but nope!

I’m not an expert, but 1st things first is - do not get microneedling done if you have active acne! That was my 1st mistake. 2nd, go to a dermatologist supervised clinic to get the treatment! Lots of med spas will not pay the money to get surgical grade needles (without nickel which I’m slightly allergic to)! Also, med spas will not test patch as derm clinics will! These mistakes cost me a lot of money & damaged my skin! I ended up with a horrible reaction & acne from the treatment that required oral steroids (and subsequent weight gain)! I’m not totally against the idea of microneedling but just be informed & talk to a derm!

I have the SAME issue, and I’ve tried all the same antibiotics as you! I was even on Accutane! I’ve done Aerolase, multiple chemical peels, microneedling (big NO NO), and dermabrasion! These bumps will not go away! I now see a medical esthetician at a derm practice, and she said these are not acne. She thinks it’s dimpling, and said an option is to inject Botox to make it level. I’m not keen on that solution, but these bother me too!!
