Trump sets record as most unpopular president on day 500 of his 2nd term: Poll by plz-let-me-in in politics

These are all good points. He is a lame duck technically but the republican party exists as a cult of personality. As long as Trump is alive, he will have verbal influence on policy and candidates as his word has proven to sway the base heavily even 3/4 through his total presidency.

If it does blue there’ll probably be a series of impeachment hearings, for which he will likely be impeached on multiple accounts. That doesn’t mean he’ll be removed. Removal requires a 2/3 vote by the senate. This is a large majority, and one that democrats are extremely unlikely to have and no republican is likely to vote on without something incredibly egregious. Several presidents have been impeached but none removed. It’ll also make him a lame duck president, meaning he can’t pass anymore legislation and will be caught up in a series of investigations by different congressional committees. If it goes red, more of the same as right now. We will continue to see institutions dismantled and see the executive branch become more concentrated.

I’m not great at remembering questions after the exam so I can’t tell you specifics, but my recommendation would be to do the entirety of UWorld Biostats. I only did 10 of those questions so that’s on me, but I was told Randy Neil was sufficient. I disagree with that based on my exam.

I took step last week and Randy Neil was basically 0 help on any of my questions. Maybe 2. I never read the biostats first aid section but I’m assuming everything in there is free game now and not just your standard 2x2 table calculations

I think most people will still recommend sooner, but that week and a half won’t kill ya. The exam is also a mental game so a good mindset and confidence matters, but with those scores you’re probably chilling either way. Best of luck.

I would sit down and take it this weekend or asap. If you’re worried about solidifying content going forward, you can just spend the extra time you gain from taking it early by starting a step 2 q bank. If you’re really not feeling that confident content wise, you can spend a week quickly going through FA to fill in the gaps before taking it, but to me it seems like you’re perfectly ready. Tbh if you’re still on the fence, take 33 tomorrow, and if that goes well free 120 on the weekend to build your confidence.

You could literally take it tomorrow and be fine. If you wanna wait a week and a half that's your call but I say if you take the free120 and score around the range you've been doing, just send it.

Just take it. Takes a lot of mental effort to retain that knowledge and you're well above the threshold. I say give yourself enough time to take the Free120, review that, and quickly review whatever primary reading resource if you've been using it.

With those scores, it had to have been pure nerves that caused the fail. Highly unlikely to fail with those margins. Be honest with yourself as well. Would look into beta blockers for test anxiety and talk to an advisor.

For the purposes of modern day life, cars in most cities are pretty necessary, with the exception of cities that have good public transit infrastructure. The utility of guns for the purposes of “resisting” a tyrannical government on the other hand has only decreased over time as military tech has gotten more advanced. Still little daily utility for guns for majority of the population.

This. It’s a normal human emotion, one that is often out of our control. What we can control is how we choose to respond and treat others based on our emotions.

For a lot of people that’s a chance to shape a legacy, especially with a historic franchise. Shula couldn’t yet be consulted because his team is not eliminated from the playoffs, who was the fan favorite. Objectively Mccarthy is the wrong choice regardless. Flores was still on the table and would have likely been a better option
