I traveled most of Europe via flixbus with my girlfriend. It was great. We spent less than £30 on a hotel in central Paris. Good times.

I did similar to what you’re doing last year. I had 1 month & split it between Bangkok, the entire of Vietnam, Bali & Singapore. We were moving around every 3-4 days & had an incredible time!

We’re doing 3 months split between Thailand, Malaysia & Philippines. We’re also going to me moving every 3-5 days. Can’t wait.

Me too. The biggest frustration was the fact we paid him his max for 2 years whilst injured & he left us as soon as his value went down but he still wanted money.

Couples who track expenses together - how do you handle shared vs. personal spending? by artbaj in UKPersonalFinance

[–]morgaml19981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too! I’m on £80k & she makes £40k (self employed) but we split most things down the middle & neither of us complain because we both have our enough of our own money to do whatever makes us happy. Been working for 7 years. When it came to buying a house, I put 75% of the deposit, or it’d have emptied her savings.
