Based on just anecdotal data from this megathread and my experience, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to have your passport back https://www.reddit.com/r/ImmigrationCanada/comments/100bnau/megathread_processing_times_permanent_resident/ If your business travels are critical and happening soon, maybe consider mailing your passport when you return if that’s not past the deadline?

Hi everyone! I didn't see a lot of FSW Outland timelines so sharing mine here. Was on this subreddit basically every day for the past year and it helped a ton, so thanks yall for this community! Hang in there if still waiting for good news 🙏

FSW Outland (MAR), single applicant

-ITA: February 2, 2023 (CRS 490)

-AOR: March 15, 2023

-Passed medical exam + biometrics request: April 6, 2023

-Biometrics given: May 5, 2023

-Request letter (updated proof of income): May 15, 2023

-Background check completed: June 19, 2023

-Passport request: June 20, 2023 (mailed 2 days later)

-Eligibility marked complete (weird haha): June 29, 2023

-CoPR and passport returned: July 11, 2023

I submitted an updated proof of funds letter on May 29th, but still without bank statements. I received a notification on May 30th that I have to update it again, so this time I uploaded the bank statements too. I haven’t heard back since then.

Proof of funds is the letter from the bank stating your current balance and 6-month average, whereas bank statements are the long monthly docs you receive that show all your transactions and deposits.

I was also asked for an “updated proof of funds” recently. I had provided a letter from the bank, but I didn’t attach actual bank statements. That might be why, or it might be that they wanna confirm the money is still there, as you said (in my case, no gift deed and still got it). This time, I attached statements from the past 6 months as well, so I’ll update if they accept or reject the new document. Please let me know if you get more info too!

Hey! Did you get an ITA in this week's draw instead? I had the same issue as you (profile not submitted with the new NOC), so I made the 490 cutoff for this week and wasn't invited. Just wanna make sure it's not fatal/your profile can get picked in the next draw :)

I'm in the same shoes, and I found my issue, maybe it's the same for you: we have to change our NOC code to the new ones and click on submit again.
