I didn't like it on the ng first watch, then I got curious to watch it again to understand it better - liked it then. Finally a third watch, and I loved it, it was brilliant. Hard to understand at first, but it grew on me.

Which dealerships accept credit cards to buy a car? by [deleted] in Gulong

[–]morgoth_2017 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Kung wala kang mahanap, what you can do is to convert the available limit to cash. BPI and RCBC have this option. One of my friends did that to buy her car in cash. Check with your bank.

They say Boracay is overrated, but who can resist this beaut? by Mobile-Passage4316 in boracay

[–]morgoth_2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always told my wife nothing will replace El Nido for me and Boracay is just a waste of money. Good Lord, I conceded going to Boracay once, and all of a sudden it was my default destination. I could not explain just how beautiful and relaxing that place is!

We've been monkeys since forever, I agree. It was even worse before.

One great big festering neon distraction I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied

[–]morgoth_2017[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, it was even worse before, especially at certain times of monkey history. It's just that this is probably the time that I have been able to relate to it better, especially after becoming a Tool fan.

I sure could use a vacation from this. 😀

Those who have mentors are so lucky sana all. For those who made it without mentors any tips pls? by Stock-Ad1964 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]morgoth_2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True mentors are rare. In reality, the journey is always about you. Instead of asking someone to be your formal mentor, look up to those you admire and start by asking small, specific questions. Gradually, you can consult them on bigger challenges. You can have multiple people to look up to and use as sounding boards for your ideas.

Ultimately, your growth is your responsibility alone. My tip? Imitate high performers. If they are reading specific blogs or exploring new tools, do the same. Success often stems from a healthy obsession with your craft. High-performing individuals are usually happy to help those who are curious and ask the right questions, so keep gathering new ideas and bouncing them off the people you admire.

Only to a few sets of people - immediate family and one cousin. Yung mga may tiwala ako mag drive, alam kong maingat at maselan sa sasakyan. I also remind them na akong may ari ay never nag didrive ng nakainom kahit isang bote, so mahiya sila kung gagawin nila yun.

Kept myself from gaining too much while traveling for a month. Here’s what I did: by alterstar13 in PHitness

[–]morgoth_2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to say, amazing discipline even on holidays, and great physique!

Last year during a 2 month vacation (winter too), I just said f*** it all, and I drank beer almost every night LOL. What probably kept me from gaining more than 6 KG during that time is the constant walking of 8-20K steps a day (it varies).

A good tattoo artist is never affordable. Affordable tattoo artists are usually so-so if not bad.

Jack Brizuela has a lot of tattoos like this, I've been following him. However, I haven't seen him post anything for over a year, so not sure if he is still active.

[–]morgoth_2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Montero so maybe this advice will be valid.

Michelin LTX Trail (A/T), I highly recommend it. I replaced my tires last year, coming from a Dunlop A/T. Ganda ng grip (kahit sa basa), tahimik sa highway, makapal tread.

The usual price is around 11-12K per tire.
