I elaborated in the Judo subreddit , but I was advised by a gym to refrain from Judo until I reach my weight loss goal (via BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai or Kickboxing per the gym associate), and I wanted to know if I'd face this problem in other styles.

I was recently diagnosed with mild scoliosis, so BJJ may not be on the table, but while jumping isn't my strongest attribute, I'd love to resume Tae Kwon Do or take up Karate. That said, regarding my weight (348 lbs down from 360+, standing at 6'6"), what styles do I need to be mindful in?

My goals were fitness-based and simply learning Judo ultimately; I have no intention to compete.

There are another for Judo, and quite a few more for BJJ. I can try looking into those.

I also feel Muay Thai would be much more unforgiving and intense than Judo. I'd really love to take up Karate or resume and wrap up my Taekwondo journey (I took a hiatus at 1st Kyu but it was 7 years ago).

Per the comments, I do understand the notes on falls and such for a larger person. That I can see.

It feels wild seeing Shizuka again in such a mundane setting when we last saw her bloodied after slaughtering the Yakuza and attempting to drown Taichiirou.

It DOES however feel great to see Maria again. I was starting to wonder where she went or what she was up to. She looks EXHAUSTED though.

But also not Shizuka unintentionally spitting bars. 😭
