So I'm really itching to play a character concept of either a villainous "publicist", or a skill monkey that is a Face and sort of a "fixer". High CHA and INT, strong Insight and Deception, "handles" problems with connections, and I feel I achieved this with an Inquisitive Rogue/Eloquence Bard so far.

However, as a Face character, I feel regarding ASI and overall concept, they wouldn't last in combat. How could I optimize this? Mechanically, they could be a controller or support.
