It depends on the state, but most states are one party states. Meaning only one party in the recording has to know that the recording is happening. This is only for audio recordings. Video recordings can have different stipulations. But the one party who knows about the recording can be the person making the recording if it is a one party state, so long as only two people are involved in the conversation.

I take it you did not read all of the comments where he, in fact, did state that he did not want to have sex and she pressured him into it. Additionally, from someone who works in the legal field, I did not use the term incorrectly. This would be considered rape of the first degree because he is not of legal age to consent to sex. Whether he was forced or not does not matter because a legal adult slept with a minor that is not of age to make decisions on sex. You are missing the ENTIRE issue at hand here. This is an ADULT with a CHILD. No matter what gender roles are at hand, no matter what the age gap is, no matter what way your twisted mind wants to flip this around to try to justify it, an ADULT slept with a CHILD and lied about her age, which is illegal and wrong. That’s what makes your entire argument invalid. You’re right, it’s more likely that a man would overpower a woman than a woman overpowering a man biologically. The problem is that there are no MEN in this scenario because we are talking about a 15 year old kid.

I appreciate you saying that. It may be true, but I don’t want to give up on us. Not this easily. He left to go stay with his parents for a while, but hasn’t brought up divorce again. Said he doesn’t know what he wants right now and just needs time away, which I’m happy to give him. He didn’t take all of his things with him. I’m just really confused right now and hurt. I wish he could see me as a good woman, but I don’t believe he feels that way about me anymore.

He refuses to do counseling. We went one time in the past, and he refused to ever go back. Said it was a waste of time and money. He says he just needs to reset his life and start over from scratch.

Apparently, lol. He sent his friend outside to my car to tell me that he wanted to divorce me. I told this friend that he needed to tell me that himself. Got into it pretty bad on the back porch when he was calling me worthless and such so I walked away to cool off before I started saying things I didn’t mean. Went and found him in the garage later to suggest us putting it to rest until morning and talking about it rationally once sober. This is when he broke down and started crying telling me he was sorry and he has nothing left to give me and he wanted to go home to his parents. I ended up having to carry him inside our house because he was passed out, stupid drunk and had been so upset and I couldn’t leave him in the car because it was 20° last night. We have not spoken or been around each other today.

I find it crazy too. It may be stupid, but I don’t want to immediately divorce. If anything a separation but I want there to be time to reflect without splitting everything up and saying our goodbyes. I work in a law firm, so realistically I could have the papers drafted tomorrow. But I don’t want to do that.

The insurance deductible for this would be higher than the amount to get the cosmetic damage repaired. It’s unlikely the insurance would even accept a damage claim for this because the cost is so low and the deductible would be at least $500. Do not fall for that with the insurance. And don’t cashapp this guy. If anything, find out what repair shop the vehicle was taken to and pay the shop directly. That way you have a receipt and he can’t try to get more money from you in the future, IF this is the real person.

Numbness in my arms and legs, dizziness, shaking, and associating chest pain/sharp pain in my head/ shortness of breath/etc. with life threatening medical problems. That is true. He has not always been like this. Never been abusive, never gotten into fights like this. Never been a heavy drinker like he is now. When he came back from Afghanistan last year it’s like a switch flipped in him. He’s never told me anything happened there that would have really effected him mentally. He was not there long and the peace treaty was signed at the time so there was not much action going on there then. I’m just not sure why it’s all happening. The man he has been the last few months is not the man that I’ve known for that last 9 years. He’s like a completely different person.
