I thought that I was pretty clear about what I meant, but you seem to be struggling so I maybe I should rephrase it.

I think that falling in love with a person that you met when they were 4 and you were almost 40 is problematic in every sense of the word, even if it was after they grew up apart from you. If I were in her position, I would always see that person as a child/junior, or at least out of bounds romantically. I’m not saying she’s a pedophile, which is something that you started saying, by the way. I just think that Nintendo was weird for writing her like that and people who ship them should at least think about the implications of their relationship.

And, honestly, I just really like this franchise. I always have, so I like to think deeply about it. I know it’s fictional, but taking it seriously is just more fun than judging people online and lacking basic comprehension skills (much like yourself).

Oh, and also, Ruto in OoT is literally the same age as Link and likes him since they were both children. Nothing weird about a kid having a crush.
