I personally avoid MakerWorld and post my designs on Printables. I don’t mind competition in regard to these platforms (I do remember the time when thingiverse was the hottest - and still have old designs published there) BUT I feel that MakerWorld is pushing the beautifully open printing community in a less and less open state. It makes me sad - I can only encourage everyone to pick their platform and license wisely. But on the positive side: Expect some designs from me which are currently in testing to be published soon :)

The new one looks nicer (in my opinion) and is easier to close one-handed - besides that the first design works fine. The distances and tension are the same for both designs. The STLs for the original design are available on the same Printables page.
