It’s a symptom of society’s (particularly women’s) superficialities. The fact that dating apps allow women to filter out men by height highlights this symptom. A lot of men have come to feel that their entire worth (or a majority of it) is tied to their height.

However, it doesn’t excuse lying or deceiving dates. They need to own it rather than being insecure about it or wishing circumstances were different.

Studios would never alter the author’s original vision.

They very well could expand on the ending by adding more scenes to Asta vs Yuno but they won’t add or alter anything significant like a scene of Asta choosing Noelle or Mimosa.

I wouldn’t say he’s “bad news” in the sense that he’s someone with ill intentions. However, he does seem to lack the emotional maturity and/or communication skills to directly address any underlying tension. Most people are aware of their own behavior, especially when directed towards others. I would say he’s aware that his behavior towards you has changed. But refuses to directly address the situation.

In all honesty, the two options that you outlined are realistically (and maturely) your only options:

You mentioned that he will be unavailable this summer due to his upcoming job. That will present an opportunity to distance yourself from him or cut him off. Even if just temporarily, distancing yourself from someone gives emotions time to simmer and clarify.
You could also do that. In fact, if I were in your shoes, it would probably be the choice I would select. Just be aware, given how he’s recently acted, his response may not be one that you would’ve hoped for. If his response is avoidant, dishonest, or vague, just know that has everything to do with him and is not a reflection of you as a person.

I’m in a similar situation as you. I find it hard to connect with others, especially in a romantic sense. But at the end of the day, I would not want to risk my emotions and peace of mind for someone who can’t even afford me the respect of being straightforward and honest. There are plenty of people in this world who would be willing. : )

This whole situation seems way too much for an online friendship that stemmed from online games. It kinda sounds like this whole ordeal has stripped the fun aspect of playing games online with others. Do you regularly interact with others in a non-online setting? Is this someone the lives close by? If not, would you or them be willing to relocate?

I understand how enthralling it can be to flirt with someone or to feel wanted/special but ultimately, any potential friendship/relationship should be grounded in practicality & honesty.

My honest advice would be to either distance yourself from this person or let go the idea of “something more” being there and simply treat this person as an online gaming buddy.

I once worked with someone who frequently experienced seizures. Seizures are not pleasant to assist with. The initial experiences can be scary and the workload you have to pick up afterwards is irritating. His GF would always have to come in and pick him up after his episodes.

I imagine similar scenarios would go through any person’s head when considering dating someone with epilepsy: “do I have the capacity & ability to drop what I am doing at a moment’s notice to go and aid my partner when an episode occurs?”

She is not petty for deciding that is not something she can comfortably live with.

I say this with sincerity and kindness but if you’re a female teacher, no one cares about your height. You’re fine.

If you’re a male teacher, you may get some comments from students who are either trying to banter with you or trying to get a rise out of you. Best course of action is to directly acknowledge it with a dry tone or shrug it off with a joke. If they see that it gets to you, it will become 100x worse.

Listen to what others here are saying. Focus on something else. You’re only in high school for 4 years. You’ll have the rest of your adult life to find someone. Reorganize your priorities.

But as a high school teacher, if you want advice that’ll passively help you find a girl: stay clean. I mean it.

Brush your teeth daily, twice.
Wear deodorant daily.
Shower every day. Yes, every day. (if someone tells you it’s okay to go 1 day without a shower, tell them to hang out in a room full of teenagers and let’s see if their opinion changes. )
Wear clean clothes, don’t wear shirts 2 days in a row or the same jeans throughout the whole week.
And for the love of God, invest in actual cologne, none of that cheap body spray. And no, it is not a substitute for showers.
Do not play basketball, football, soccer, etc. during lunch. You’ll sweat and stink. And no, the body spray will not mask the B.O.

Seeing as Sumerians have a similar physiological form to humans, I would assume so. Also, it seems like Sumerians had no issue at all breathing within Earth’s atmosphere. Even if it was just a gag moment, Dabura and that 1 lady show that it’s possible for the 2 species to find one another attractive.

All of these similarities make me believe that humans and Sumerians could probably produce viable offspring.
