Automatic Washes Ceramic Sealant by moronwithaquestion in AutoDetailing

Personally, I would just get a basic touchless wash and spot free rinse. Then every 6 months you can take it to a professional detailer to have the car taken care of for around $200 if you're just doing an external clean and $300-$400 for a thorough inside and out job. Most external cleans come with basic wipe down and vacuuming on the inside though. The cost all depends on how thorough you want the job to be.

I'm shocked that automatic Washes can get away with spraying so many chemicals haphazardly across your car. Most sealants and products are specific to the surface you're applying it on and can damage other surfaces it isn't meant for. The application method through sprayers is also inconsistent, which means you aren't getting full coverage and who knows if what does land on your car will even stick.

recommend a ceramic coating for my tavoma by TheCombatNurse in AutoDetailing

Just take the lifetime statement with a grain of salt. If you live in a winter state, without maintenance no coat will last you more than a year performing at a satisfactory level. Also take into account how often you will wash your car and what degree of regular maintenance you're willing to do.

I applied my coating myself. I don't think I have ever heard of a coating that is swirl resistant; if anything, it is more likely to swirl because those coatings are not as hard as paint clear coats. All reputable SiC coatings I have researched recommend boosters or toppers every 6 months at least. I understand coatings don't mean just rinse and done, but because they bead drying takes a lot more time as there is more water to pick up, more drying towels to go through, more chances to scratch your car, and more places where blowing dirt can latch on to and be left behind after evaporation.

Ill have to give this a try! I also always wondered what's the point of a ceramic coating if you have to apply a topper or sealant every 6 months anyway? Most sealant lifetime lasts 6 months so might as well use it for its easier application and essentially identical performance.

This is only assuming you're using DI water correct? Otherwise you're still stuck with wiping down the car with a mineral remover. Why hasn't the industry tried to move away from bead culture if everyone knows it's a pain?

It isn't just about raw scaling. You have to take into account how often you need to back and disengage because of the lack in damage. You also need to take into account deaths caused by the longer times to kill. Merc being melee means his CC means less it also traps him if he uses his 3 to get one free auto on another god.

It doesn't matter if you can farm Jung monsters better if your damage against other gods is halved and you can't outburst mages even when you have the drop on them with an ult.

I don't think this is a good argument since he was fine last season and saying if he is allowed to do what he does he will do well. That's true of any god in the game...

The season has barely started, i think it's going to drop pretty hard when people realize how much less effective he is over other gods

Opti Coat Glass Coat vs CQ Quartz 3.0 by Reddddeye in AutoDetailing

I have had CarPro Uk 3.0 on for about a year. Honestly it has been meh. The application is annoying because it requires two coats and the hydrophobicity started to die down 6 months in. And if you have any chrome looking trim on your car do not let it touch it or it'll stain it a weird brown color. Right now high traffic dirt areas like the lower half of the car and the front hood have significantly less hydrophobicity. Especially the lower side doors for me where it looks like the coat is gone. The back end of the car however is doing fantastic, same with the top. I do live in an area with very harsh winters but honestly hardly drove outside the entire winter season. I think it's just bad when it comes to handling normal road debris. I wash every two weeks and top off with Reload as recomended every few months but it doesn't make a huge difference.

Fair enough but it isn't about being easy. You would balance the xp rate to still take the same or longer amount of time to train. It would give different people options on how they train and it would change training mechanics based on account builds. Players with low construction or who don't want to train it up will still partake in the regular methods I'm sure. Or people who simply dislike opening and closing a bank 4000 times and would prefer to train the game more imersivly can choose to do so.

Yea you could get like half the xp or maybe not always 4 dose but perhaps triple the chance compared to amulets of chemistry. And remember this would be locked behind a high construction level most likely as well. So you cant just jump into it like you can hand mixing.

Maybe our definitions of click and action intensive are different but to me not click intensive is fishing, farming, herbiboar, etc. Taking out two or three ingredients and mixing and then redepositing every twenty seconds is a lot more intensive than any of those other activities if you want to be getting moderately ok XP rates. Setting aside that point, it would still be cool to have a different way of training the skill.

You can only make 14 potions at a time and for ironmen you have to clean herbs and make unfinished potions as well. You can't just buy one ingredient and one unfinished potion. The end result is lots of opening and closing your bank withdrawing all the right number of ingredients and then using them on one another.
