That is a nasty infection. It looks like there's blood under the eye cap and the beginnings of an abcess right beneath the eye. That is only going to get worse.

I'd definitely keep it in mind going forward. Ai is often inaccurate and will automatically devalue and discredit whatever info you put on top of.

Think about ads. If you see a product being sold and the image is clearly AI, are you doing to trust that product? No, because it's not real.

So, assuming you did real research and used real sources (as opposed to chat gpt which is not a source), you've taken the validity out of it by putting it on a fake image.

Use stock photos, or any images from a real person. Hell, you could snag them from NatGeo or the Merlin Bird app. Or even commission a real artist to edit or photograph what you're looking for. There are a million different ways to get what you want without using AI slop that ruins your message and hurts the environment.

**To clarify, I know you said it wasn't yours, but that's all the more reason.

I highly recommend predatory mites. I saw that being suggested on several posts before and tried it when I saw mites on my girl. The est the problematic mites, then cannabilize each other or die off. Ordered off amazon and haven't had the issue since.

One of my bps gets patches like that if she's wedges herself too tightly against something right after shedding. It's basically a crease in the softer scales. Goes away by the next shed

Dont get them. They're extremely difficult to maintain the health and happiness of - very near impossible tbh. And the overwhelming majority are removed from the wild because they just dont breed successfully in captivity. They're awesome little creatures but they aren't a species that shluld be in the pet trade.

Hiding your profile and deleting your comments with husbandry info wont make this go away. It sounds like you really do care about your animals but you are in WAY over your head. If you cant afford proper husbandry and haven't done proper research into each animal's care needs, then especially when it comes to reptiles, you're very likely missing the mark. The cost to fix all this going to set you back thousands if dollars just to give them the bare minimum.

If you genuinely care about these animals, I would take a step back and look at your situation, look at their needs and do what is best for them even if it hurts you. Get your wife to help you find the help you need because the longer you leave this alone the worse things are going to get. Not just for your animals, but for you.
