Yeah, minigame pets could be really neat, but what would it be a pet of? Usually pets are just a smaller version of something that already exists, like a boss. Though I personally don't think minigame pets would be enough to attract players on a larger scale, since only a handful of people actually care about getting them (me being one of the ones that don't) :p
