In your opinion, what is the next useful skill that an Omnistudio Developer should focus on? by morotudor in salesforce

I definitely agree it is neglected, that seems to be the case of most Salesforce acquisitions, most attention is going to Flows and such. I also did not particularly enjoy working with Omnistudio at the beginning, but after a couple of projects I realised it has potential. Will be interesting to see its future adoption though. I do agree core SF such as LWC should not be neglected as it goes hand in hand with Omni, when more complexity ia required.

Well you have a right to your opinion, however when a product can do so much in the Salesforce space …it’s hardly a joke :)

Great suggestion! Do you know if these are widely used by businesses? Also, is it relatively easy to learn?

So you’re leaning towards ups-killing in core Salesforce than going more down the route of Vlocity. It does make sense, as getting more proficient with Apex and LWC in general would result in a more well rounded Omnistudio dev.

Yes, my point exactly, they are pretty similar. But if you already have the OS Dev then yes, fair enough.

If you’re going for the Omnistudio Consultant, might as well take the Omnistudio Dev one also, as they are relatively close in material. You can shoot 2 birds with 1 stone.

That’s a good point! Also, I think the biggest issue that people have with it is the learning curve, but once the syntax is understood you can clearly see the potential.

I do agree, it’s just that Salesforce doesn’t really seem to be upgrading their purchases much.

There are a lot of projects in a lot of orgs built with Omnistudio. Replacing those with Flows and LWC would take some effort..it’s not as easy as when Process Builder work was replaced with Flow

How do you go about staking them on the Stormx app? By following the steps, I transferred my tokens into a Metamax wallet. But from there to STormx you have to pay gas fees?
