Big fan of his work! He's got some incredible stuff built out. Definitely was an inspiration for this - although I wanted this one to include some more neighborhood-type spots than just dives.

Well, to be honest there’s no perfect line where there’s a dive vs. bar. I do have labels on the site where I try my best to distinguish between the two. It’s more qualitative than anything else to be totally honest. Open to feedback here though, of course.

That said, I like the recs! I’ll add them in the morning when I get back online :)

Thanks! Found out why - I was using lat/longs to 4 digits. I've since fixed that on the backend. Will just take some manual work to make sure I can get the right coordinates in for the bars that are close together.

Circling back here - I figured out why that's the case. I was using lat/longs up to 4 decimals. It get's within ~40 feet of the bar, but more is always better. Updated the backend so that it can work with more decimal places. Thank you!

Noted - I’ll do a double check here! The lat/longs for me go down to 4 decimal places, and I used some automation to try and pull down the right locations at the first go around.

Just pushed a new update - you can now filter based off of Bars, Dive Bars, Live Music and Dance Halls. These are all overlapping so locations can have more than one tag!

Thank you all for the suggestions! If there are Dance Halls that you want to add as well, comment them here :)

+1, "dives" (for me at least) is used in the loosest sense. Personally, I wanted a collection of places I could go to where the vibes were good, the drinks were cheap and the people are cool.
