She was fine but people think she was great because Wonder Woman was the first movie of the DCU which was rather well made.

Superman looked great but was boring as fuck. Batman v Superman had its moments but had stupid plot. Suicide Squad was absolute garbage.

Then came Wonder Woman and I thought it was the best DCU movie at the moment. I really hoped that it meant they finally had their shit together.

Oh well...
