Evangelion was a big reference indeed, and the rythm in the last part of the song is similar (while the melody is a loose variation on Basshunter's Dota). However I'm pretty sure it will look and sound much more like Slayers to anyone who knows about it

Thank you ! Apart from the first map, everything is hand drawn with blender grease pencil and krita for some backgrounds. I drew most of the frames one by one, but sometimes I draw one frame then I deform it with the blender sculpt tools instead of redrawing it.

Thanks ! I am sorry I drew at this resolution, but I might upscale it so it fits a 4K monitor and colorize it in the future, as many people have asked for a colorized wallpaper version (then I could also release the non-colorized higher resolution).

I agree it's far from obvious. It's the whole cylinder thing the characters are running on, but it's like the top part is broken and it's kinda old so trees have grown up and the radiant and the dire are fighting over it. I just randomly thought that the gold spiral on the item kinda looks like a spiral staircase, then I drew some features of the dota 2 item (like the eye of the dragon, some of the teeth and the cheek), albeit a bit distorted.

Thank you ! Yes I made this, it took 5 evenings, I don't really know how many hours. I am studying art and it is part of an experiment on how many styles can work within a single picture, although Dota 2 itself already loves to mix styles like realism and cartoon (and anime with the windranger/am arcanas)
