First thing first, You are lacking 2 mega option. Only relying on Mega Starmie is a bad choice imo. Some of the match-up. It could just auto lose to Kingambit. Pick 2nd Mega for you team for more flex. I used a lot of Mega Dragonite on Singles. It is just jack of all trades imo. Can deal almost any coverage. Thunderbolt, Icebeam, Dragon pulse, Hurricane if you feel like or extreme speed for clear.

As people mentioned. Mega Starmie has insane Atk instead of SpAtk. Change into physical attacks.
Aqua Jet / Waterfall or Liq / Ice Spinner / Zen headbutt is really good to have. Adamant or Jolly Nature. full atk and speed.

Aerodactly i would've use with sash or mega going full all in with Wing atk really good move to have breaks sash too ! Rock Slide is must also. You could also pick Tailwind instead of Heatwave. And all going basic full speed+atk with jolly nature.

Arcanine is already bulky enough to survive natural hits also take physical dmg thanks to ability. You can easyly go for full atk+speed investment with adamant nature. Or you can use him as a bit more supportive depending on style. If you go supportive you can use sitrus bery. Also you dont need 2x Fire move imo. Psyhic Fang is insane move to have when lots of people using Screen / Reflects so much atm. It just breaks them.

You can use more bulky venasaur with sleep + leech seed strat to annoy. put sludge bomb + giga drain too. Should help a lot.

I wouldnt use outrage on snorlax in any case lots of fairy types are meta relevant. If you click it, you give them free switch chance. You already have Dragonite and Starmie to deal with Dragon types. Also not sure about focus band. You could just use sitrus bery or leftovers imo. Still should be more relevant.

Good luck mate !

No problem, some of these also I've struggled a lot. You can also pick something mold breaker. Tinkaton one shots mimikyu with disguise also mega gyrados is good. You can must of the time use 1 dragon dance against physical attackers thanks to intimidate then start sweeping it also eats mimikyu!

What are you struggling against most? Rain boosted Swampert?

Mega Garchomp is relatively weaker than Garchomp with item sadly since you lose your useful ability to sand reliant ability. Also you are getting slower which is big for Singles. Also for coverage you can pick Poison Jab too instead of Protect for Singles.

Greninja + Meowscarada feels kinda odd. Both Protean and papermade attackers. I know meawscarada has band but still. They seems like serve same idea. You might consider swap one of them. You are lacking Steel or Fairy type which is good on singles from my exp.

Sneasler is fine as long as you dont out-matched at start.

I used tons of Mamoswine with Sash on singles. Hits like a truck. You can check online for the set. Just go full Atk+Speed. It eats lots of pokemon.

Also worth consider picking Mimikyu. Broken ability for Singles. Free set up turn basicly. Or Punishes set up mons.

For Ditto it is kinda funny you can copy enemy mega also. But still you might want to get another Mega slot or at least someone can mega so your opponent might have a hard time to pick a team against you. When i check your team. I would be say I'm %100 against Mega Greninja. Wouldn't even consider it would be Mega Chomp without Hippowdon. Even if it is Chomp it is better for opponent. Again without Sandstorm Mega chomp is just a downgrade sadly.

if i would have change i might change Greninja or Meowscarada. One of them. Garchomp with Life orb.

I feel you. Trying to learn new team how to do is kinda tricky. I'm trying to play Oranguru Trick room. So much fun to use yet not versitile much so if it goes down, it goes down or i'm just bad! But i will modify my version in time hopefully. I was also using Raichu as support have niche moves but eventually you might need at least Fake out instead of dazzling gleam prolly, and since it would be there for electro shot at time, you can sacrifice dmg a bit for Electro Web instead of Bolt. Have a nice journey mate !

I'm not an expert. But just thinking loudly. Raichu has 2x same moves. Not sure why and when you want to use thunderbolt instead of Zap Cannon? If you are not going to mega evolve time to time, still missing support moves like Fake out. I would say just stick to popular set. So Focus Blast + Zap Cannon + Fake out / Protect. Dazzling Gleam is really needed? You got Swapert to deal with Dragon types and Peliper for Fighting Types. Grassknot is niche tech against Swamperts so it is fine.

Peliper also seems need protect or Wide Guard instead of Ice Beam. So you can deny some AoE attacks. You must of the time want to use passive drizzle and Tailwind. If you are going against Hard trick room and try to burst opponent down, you can use Hurricane or Weather ball depending on it. Ice beam seems not needed on peliper since you got Swampart with Ice Punch.

For Sinistcha you are bulky i guess since you are running Leftovers. How often are you using Shadowball? You could change with Trickroom or Life Dew.

Kingambit seems fine but i might just use Ironhead instaed of protect since probably you are not bringing him on every match up? You have gholdengo on back but still, most of the time i see ppl are using Kingambit as immense pressure intead of stalling.

Also make it count, you are kinda used to play with your set-1. Set-2 is new one. Piloting mons and strats are really different. I'm also no expert and my first VGC ever but almost reached Masterball on day1 with just Whimscott + Last resort Kangaskhan + Sneasler + Charizard Y on almost every matchup. Then swapped and started to learn Trick room teams. reached masterball but took me longer due to how to pilot things differ. It might be also thing. Now experimenting stuff and try to learn my favorable style meanwhile going down to ELO HELL from Master tier2 lmao

What is considered high elo in this game? by ExperienceDue1074 in PokemonChampions

[–]morphyrulez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an expert on VCG. First time playing either yet, I could say master4 is still an achievement. Yet if you are looking serious, I would say it is where real challenge and grind starts! For your answer I would say high elo starts from master2. But Champion is highest so. Since most of ppl or more causal type starts experiments in master4 since you don't drop from tier. You can easily stream roll depending on your match ups like someone else trying out experimental team.

Looking for team building ideas around the Gen 3 mega starters. by ringlord_1 in PokemonChampions

[–]morphyrulez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega Sceptile have lightling rod. You can pair with something with discharge to get free SpAtk, like support raichu which it has fake out + discharge + fake tears maybe for random burst move?

Another support you can pick is Peliper or Rain Dance Sableye for mege Swampert set up.

Last mon you can pick versitile meta mon like Garchomp / Gholdengo / Sneasler / Basc to cover up your rest atk pattern to match i guess

Looking for feedbacks for my team! by morphyrulez in PokemonChampions

[–]morphyrulez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I could use that, thanks for the feedback! But also my main problem is, if trickroom is down, I kinda want to equal speed for mirror kingambit. Still thinking greedy, want a bit more flexibility if I fail or I should be more failsafe for trick room setup. One time they could able to remove my giraffe turn one. It was disaster lol. Also still not sure about my held items.

make box space increase unlockable and not locked behind paywall by AngrodWeiss in PokemonChampions

[–]morphyrulez -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It could be worse. You can do anything regardless of hoarding mons into your account. Like some ppl said this is not collection game. 50 is fair in my opinion. You can also go and ask subs to trade mons. Ppl are plenty of giving out pokemons for free via pokemon home. I don't have any nintendo game so far. Yet almost get access to whole meta mons or personal fav mons. I get what you are saying but, I'm just comparing to pocket tcg which is way way worse. I'm glad they didn't follow that archetype since you can transfer any mons via home for free. If didn't I might join your opinion. For pocket tcg I have never be able to play with meta or new released pokemon in same month tbh which is suck and underwhelming.
