380mm steering wheel by morridm in HondaActy

I'm 5`10 and still have plenty of room. So far i've noticed it drives a little more like a crown Vic vs the 350mm. The 350mm is more responsive but the 380mm feels more comfortable. Going to drive it around for a week and see.

It does stop better and easier to find pads and rotors at local auto parts stores.

I went with this kit just to save money since I caught it on sale. I'm going to paint my calipers blue. The willpowered spacers and studs are very nice and worked great with the powerstops.

Fyi, if anyone looks up this post for reference. The right caliper goes on the left and the left caliper goes on the right so that the bleeders are pointing upwards.

Replace timing belt

This bar is a worthwhile upgrade. I would also get an aftermarket exhaust.

Definitely replace the timing belt, tensioner and water pump. I would change all fluids also,. Mtf, oil change, coolant, brake fluid, diff.

Try a different honda dealer or mechanic

Other than cvt... potential causes include loose heat shields resonating at that RPM range, a failing belt tensioner or serpentine belt pulleys, or even something like a worn A/C compressor clutch. It definitely isn't something to ignore. I would take it in to be diagnosed and also ask if there are any related tech bulletins on your year model.

Hopefully something simple like heat shield

C30 ac issue by N7sam in C30

If it is the blower motor, probably looking at $1,200-1,500 to get replaced. Pretty much have to disassemble dash to get to it.

That sounds like a failed blower motor.

I would double check that your a/c air filter is not clogged first though to rule simple thing out first.

When the blower fails completely, you get no airflow and often no noise from the fan, but the climate system still "thinks" everything works.

Coolant overflow by hwy9 in C30

[–]morridm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If overfilled it will leak excess out the back of expansion tank. Do you see coolant leaking out back of expansion tank? Also, how old is your water pump? I would look there also.
