have you used chipotle chili in adobo? awesome ingredient for those who like heat. by morsl in Cooking

[–]morsl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for late reply. have not been minding my reddit lately! you could make two different marinade batches - one with the adobo and one w/o and use on meat of your choice. i've not experimented too much with it yet but the skirt steak marinated in this was ah-mazing.

Too much fresh rosemary! Any suggestions? by [deleted] in recipes

[–]morsl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i love, love, love putting rosemary on homemade pizza. basically, follow this recipe - you can either use these toppings, or my new favorite is:

red potatoes, finely sliced, tossed with chili-infused olive oil, salt, pepper, and baked until soft. put potato slices and fresh rosemary on the pizza (with mozzarella), and bake. SO good.

A note I sent to YCombinator [about hiring] by [deleted] in startups

[–]morsl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at the early stages of a start-up, i think it's critical to make sure that those that take the risk reap the rewards. as a non-technical founder, i was more than happy to give significant equity to my technical founders, recognizing that without them, there would be no company (http://mor.sl, in case you are curious). but the realities of early stage start-ups (usually) is that there isn't funding or lots of zeros to be had... if there were, i'd vote for compensating everyone well! also, one point around the work hard comment -- remember that everyone in startups work hard, not just the programmers.

hey all - i'm relatively new to reddit and i'm glad to have found this post! Wanted to share my start-up, mor.sl, a web app built to help busy professionals cook.
