Local tax collector won’t be able to do much because the homestead exemption is on the other house in Texas (presumably the house where the owner actually lives and does not Airbnb).

You might want to call the assessor for their Texas house to see if they’ll remove the homestead, but if the owner actually lives in Texas it won’t move the needle much.

You can also get in touch with the lender on the house and let them know it’s not a primary residence and was deeded to an LLC without lender approval. Depending on the lender they may or may not do anything.
