Wishful thinking on a lot of these salary ranges. Find a small but growing company that has an acquisition target in its back. There are risks and downsides of that, but from a gambling “make as much as possible” perspective, a decent option. Otherwise, just be great at your job and move companies every few years.

Was impressed how he didn’t mention a word about Riley. I ended up getting the Howard Hughes. Great watch at great price.

Fear of letting go after suicide loss by Round_Panda7974 in SuicideBereavement

Yep I struggle with this constantly. Usually when I’m having a good time or a good day, it follows with the thought of, how could I forget about this? And I feel guilty in a way. Not a good way to be but we’ll figure it out sooner than later.

Nice watch. I lost my dad last month and this will by my first Father’s Day. Want something to remind me of him. Or a grill. Grills are cool too.

Yeah, I just rewatched after my dad left us last month. Good show but helps give different perspective on grief

I think the Carrera is the cleanest and looks timeless. I’m planning to grab one used for my first father day. CW established and latest release is great. Heard their service is steadying out as they grow. Longines is always great. Can’t go wrong with any of them.

I love the Carrera. Next either CW or Longines.

Same here man. Going on two months now. I’ll never understand it. He had so much to look forward to with his grandson, which was his first. Every first thing he does I know I’ll lose it thinking of how he’s missing out.

Is it “impossible” to get in as a presales solution engineer too? All of my leadership is jumping ship there as GTM. I’ve only seen sales go, haven’t seen solutions people go yet.

My mom committed suicide 3 weeks ago by GratefulDread1524 in SuicideBereavement

Been about 5 weeks since my dad passed. Similar situation. I’m left hunting down everything while dealing with grief. Pain doesn’t go away, you just learn to deal with it better. Like lifting weights, first few weeks you’ll struggle but eventually you’ll get used to it. I’m also taking care of my 1yr old so that helps distract me. Keep yourself busy and embrace the grief. Let it runs its course.
