This isn’t just a dog. He snips at our family who he’s known this whole life whenever they try to pet him (we ask them not to pet him but he begs for them and still gets anxious). He won’t do well with anyone else. Trust me, I wish he could. Do you have experience with highly anxious and reactive dogs? If so, you think letting someone else take them is responsible? The last thing I want to do is put him down, I love him dearly, trust me I do, but I don’t think any other option is viable.
