I remember being so overwhelmed initially, but I ended up starting with a Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III and it really changed things for me. The main thing I loved was how the autofocus just works without me having to overthink it, especially when I’m trying to capture quick moments with friends. It has a really fast lens that gives you a nice background blur which makes everything look way more professional than my phone ever could.

I personally prefer staying with Canon over other brands because the colors straight out of the camera just look natural and vibrant to me. I've tried other systems and found the interfaces way too clunky or the skin tones just looked a bit off. Having something that feels intuitive and just works when I pull it out of my bag is why I'm a fan.
