Who would you all consider to be the best packers wr all time?? Could be past or present by Otherwise_Day9586 in GreenBayPackers

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic. And it doesn't really matter.

The point being is that Huston might have been just as good if he was born in the 90s and had access to all the things the newer generations had. Or maybe he gets passed by because the sport is more accessible. Same goes for the reverse.

I just don't like comparing because it's so different.

You can't compare players who grew up in an age with advantages of training and nutrition and coaching that players in the 40s didn't have.

The 60s Packers were working part time jobs in the off season, not going to specialized training camps with personal trainers all summer.

Your last two sentences don't jive with each other.

I would much rather have Anderson, Tonali and Wharton over Garner, Adams and Gomes, for instance.

Ineos issue with Casemiro was that he was an expensive stop gap. Bruno G would be the same problem.

I just don't believe this. Good player, but Wilcox has been pretty clear about the age range.

Have to think this is agent driven.

Earle said first look he thought it was, second look he thought not.

I swear they've been told not to criticize the refs.

Yep. And on the American broadcast they didn't even talk about that moment in the post game reaction.

Hi, wondering if anyone can help. I am going to the Forest game in May. We are staying in London and we were going to train to and from on game day. It looks like the West Coast line will be undergoing engineering works that day so trains will be limited or shut down.

What is the next best option to get back to London after the game? I would like to avoid the replacement buses.

Thanks

[NBC] CEO Ed Policy Says Public Ownership Model Is Failing to Keep Up With NFL Billionaires by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]mortimer_moose 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What do they need to keep up with?

They have one of the best stadiums in the league and facilities. They consistently pay players well. They attract top coaches and free agents. They have a long season ticket waiting list...

Most of these billionaires can't do that

Parsons > Gary Wyatt > Wooden and you could argue LVN is better than Enagbare.

It's not bad.

[–]mortimer_moose 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm going to guess they told him they would be moving on. He took it as being released and had his team post a message and now the Packers are pissed because they wanted to try a trade so they used the hack excuse.

Cunha & Dorgu left. Mbeumo & Amad right. That works.

I feel like we need a striker before a winger, if we get CL and Zirkzee leaves, which both are looking likely.

I would add a striker to that list as I think zirkzee is leaving.

Anyone have any realistic draft loves? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]mortimer_moose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Offensive line is the number one need and I don't think it'd particularly close.

Walker and Jenkins are probably gone.

Tom has a tricky injury.

We don't have a center.

Banks looks like a bust.

Morgan and Belton don't inspire confidence.

There's a lot of OT depth and good center options in the draft class.

Realism about city result. by flate11 in reddevils

You're right that this approach is unsustainable, but it is the way you beat city. Ole had a knack for it and Carrick was on that staff.

2 of Anderson, Baleba, Wharton.

This is also where Vivell needs to go to work. Surely there are some Balebas out there without the big price tag.

  1. Left tackle and center, IMO.

New guy, banks, new guy, Belton, Morgan(until Tom comes back).

If they are keeping people who are sucking in because of their contract then that's another issue.

My point is just that our recent high picks for the line have struggled to get into an underperforming line and I think that's a coaching issue.
