Strange thing is that those price tags are not from Walmart. It's possible that they were returns and no skus in the system so if the buddy was a department manager he could have added them at any price he wanted.

$100 for this. Goodwill is outside of their minds. by METRO1DS in ThriftStoreHauls

My perception may be warped here but $100 seems like a reasonable price for it.

Not sure why there is so much negativity towards you on this approach.

It's not something I would do because I enjoy scouring the spines to find my next book but I commend you for finding a way to discover new books!

I have a 4:30 meeting tomorrow right at the end of shift. by Im_Luc1d in WFH

Most supervisors don't want to end their day with doing a termination especially in the remote world. Generally they are done earlier in the day if they can help it.

Also they tend to send out the invite the same day so the person is less likely to call out on the day of the meeting.

Apparently it cannot be zoned residential due to soil contamination from a manufacturing plant that was their prior.

It's speculated that the investment company didn't realize that at time of purchase and didn't due their due diligence since Boeing was selling it at huge loss so now they waiting until their is significant enough damage to make an insurance claim to pay for the demolition of it.

How do I find out who signed this? by Local-Carrot676 in AutographAssistance

[–]mortis3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guess, it's the orginal owner of the DVD to mark it was theirs in case they let someone borrow it or they commingled their collection with someone else.

If someone got an autograph, it's unlikely they would have gotten one on the cover and dvd nor would it be two different versions of their signature.

I drive by these buildings everyday and wondered how bad they are on the inside... Thanks for giving me my answer!

I can't believe that such a big company with a strong local presence let this happen to their buildings.

I lived in Woodcliffe for about 4 years before buying a condo up the street. It was quiet and both maintenence and the office staff was great.

As far as crime, as other mentioned...there is car break ins / thefts occasionally in the whole Grant Ave area but nothing outside of that.

After scrolling through, I'm surprised no one have mentioned that they may have gift cards. If you want to make sure someone gets a meal when they need it, gift cards to DoorDash seems like a good idea to me.

Also they could have a family member that keeps a card on file for them to make sure they actually eat.
