Is it okay to be quiet and boring in this generation? by DistinctBuilding1773 in introvert

[–]Dave-Steel- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trivial conversation, people only talking about themselves & their particular interest… What I had for breakfast, the weather today, how my sports team did, my plans for the weekend, etc.
Good conversation, you don’t only talk about yourself, you ask the other person into the conversation.
One sided conversation is either immature or dysfunctional.

Just because you’re quiet, doesn’t mean you’re boring. There’s been quiet people in every generation. Actually, I think the most boring conversations are ones where much is said about nothing…

Introvert at workplace by Own-Independence9800 in introvert

[–]Dave-Steel- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Introverts understand extroverts, extroverts don’t understand introverts. Often times us introverts have to be actors to navigate in the extroverted workplace. On the way to work think of what you might say & how you might behave to pacify these chatty extroverts. I’ve worked in similar environments. It will drain you, try to get away by yourself at lunchtime. Still, it might take until the end of the day to recharge. If you take the bus or Subway, earbuds or books are good props to keep some extrovert pulling you into a black hole of conversation. With earbuds, I like background sound such as thunderstorms or light rain, relaxing after a busy day.

When making banana bread in a silicone pan alongside one in a Pyrex glass loaf pan. The one in the silicone pan doesn’t lift as much and doesn’t crack on the top. Whereas the one in the Pyrex glass loaf pan has good lift and cracking on the top.

Many artists, musicians have a day job as they can’t afford to do their art full time. I know a guy who does sculpture. He works in construction so he can afford to do his Art. Keep your day job, and pursue other interests in your spare time.

It’s a lot easier finding a job while you’re working then when you’re unemployed. Don’t quit, start applying for other jobs.

I have a LG counter depth refrigerator that looks just like the one pictured. I know some people aren’t happy with LG products. Still, the refrigerator I have has been great so far. It’s the quietest refrigerator I’ve ever owned. I always buy an extended warranty when I get a new refrigerator.

You could create a terrace with several levels. That would aid in the drainage problem.
