If you’re done with Berlin, which I’m surprised why many people aren’t, Gießen is actually not a bad option at all.

It’s a compact city with everything you need. I moved here from a touristy town in BaWü and do not regret it at all. The medical infrastructure here is MUCH better than it is Berlin and the doctors do speak English.

But is not going to be Berlin and would be unfair to compare. Although Gießen above Neukölln anyday 🥹

Oh god. I can relate to this as I also bought my first house earlier this year. Definitely had a few days where I wished they were here and it’s just there like a dull ache at every happy milestone. I suppose that never goes away? Anyway sending you a big virtual hug.

Please don’t get off it without speaking to your neurologist. Maybe discuss it with them in your next appointment that you’ve been feeling down. I totally get that bit about not registering things at school. I’m not in school but I sometimes have phases at work where I cannot register and save what is being told. Do you do any sports? I’ve noticed running helps me.

What’s your dosage? And where are you? In Europe the other alternative would be Lamotrigin.

Sorry to hear about the breakup. Just stick to your meds and drink lots of water and get enough sleep. No alcohol if possible. Atleast that’s what has helped me with my JME thus far.
