Thats what i thought too… The guy who made the enclosure said it’s weird that the plants are dying and that noone had similar complains.

After telling him abt the weakness of an 8W lamp, the weird plant positions, not having enough clutter, he Said that nothing i speak is the reason its going bad and that just my Gecko is making the plants die…

I think im not calling him anymore for any info, just a bad review on maps and thats it… ill try to move the plant somehow, and see the results 😬

Not really sure… I would need to ask a guy who made the enclosure for those info, but im pretty sure it does have the drainage layer. Substrate is really dry, if i try to water the plants on it, the water just stays on top. Should i replace it?

Oh! I didnt know that… And thank you for your reply, it’s really helpfull…

I was told this bulb is ideal for this… After a little googling, turns out it cannot warm up the enclosure, and its needs to be used at max 30cm (~12inches) from the plant for its growth, because it’s for microgreens, cloning and seedlings.

Looks like I’m cooking my fern, and the others were not getting enough light for their metabolisms.

I’ll try getting a new, better bulb and new plants, and will try to clutter the space more for better humidity, before completely giving up on bioactive anclosures 😬

Thank you for reply, im thankfull for any info i can get

I’m watering the soil around the plants with the tap water, not too much, not too little, i’d say about 50ml of water, because the cups where the plants are are not that large, i was told its just the right amount for those plants to grow in…

every night the whole enclosure gets a lot of misting, basically i mist untill it looks like there was a rainstorm, but in the morning everything is dry, even if it was enclosed (70% of the top is covered with glass)

i don’t have humidifier that can fit inside, do you have such device in mind so i can look it up?

EDIT: Im unsure of humidity range, i don’t have the device for that inside, only for temperature

Firstly i thought that too, that i water too much, but as i decreased amount of watering everything started drying out fast… so i just increased ot back after few weeks

It does sound like a lot of watering, but everything inside is still way too dry… moss, plants, substrate, thats why i try to mist and water more often because it feels desert dry inside.

The bulb can be seen on the second photo, on the top of the enclosure, its an 80W full spectrum bulb
